9. If someone has promised us a gift as a reward; and as time goes by, we are not receiving it; we still must wait on God in patience, knowing that He has lain up a reward for us in heaven, and will add to that, if we continue in the fruits of the Spirit. Let us not walk in pride as we wait on Him.
